Federation Nebula-Class science starship, Starfleetregistry NCC-71200.  Starship Pandora was lost in the Menkare Expanse in 2372 with all 600 Starfleet personnel on board.  Admiral Kilgore’s headquarters on Kafre Prime had no telemetry or any form of contact with them since.  All starships in the Menkare Expanse have a standing order that, if they encounter Pandora, they are to approach with extreme caution, as they may be infested with the alien parasites threatening the Menkare Expanse.
