Federation Miranda class science ship.  Starfleet registry NCC-1890.  Commissioned at Litton-Sedeco Shipbuilding, Pearl Harbor Starfleet Facility, Earth on Stardate 8609.5, Admiral Lyon served aboard Cyane from 2325-2327 while an enlisted petty officer early in his career.  In 2373, Fleet Admiral Lyon displayed a model of the Cyane in his Flag Officer stateroom aboard the Sovereign class starship Maximillian (NCC-74997).  The dedication motto for Cyane reads, "Coute Que Coute"
