Rose Kelly is the persona of Maximillian and Asgard member Kathy Knese.

There are two Rose Kellys in Starfleet.  The first is a regular Earth girl.  She was kidnapped by species 8472 two days after she graduated from Starfleet Academy, and held prisoner up until ten years ago.

The other Rose Kelly is a spy from species 8472.  Her resume includes 3 years aboard the USS Kittyhawk where she was caught.  She was forced to confess and tell Captain Patton where the real Rose Kelly was, and was forced to join Starfleet honestly.  She is now second officer of the USS Asgard with the rank of Commander.

The real Rose Kelly is an Ensign aboard the USS Maximillian.  Her specialty is archaeology and anthropology...and is mad as hell at her double.
