The following mission briefing contains spoilers for the short story "Reach for the Stars and Grab the Future".  The story is available for download free-of-charge at the following link.  This is the first time that this story has ever been released.

It was originally written by Robert Lyon in 1997 and details the launch of the Sovereign Class Maximillian (NCC-74997) and the secrets of it's first mission to the Menkare Expanse.
