Databit is a tiny (roughly 12” tall) android, created during Overload’s development.  He was developed to be a laptop version of Data, as an experiment utilizing nano-technology.  Databit is essentially a super-advanced sentient tricorder, which aids the crew when information or research needs to be gathered.  He is also Overload’s best friend, the two of them having been inseparable since the days when they were brought online.

Databit is like his namesake in every way, right down to his emotion chip and also his curiosity streak, which often results in the tiny android getting into mischief with quite humorous results.
