(Ath-ee-en-oh) Site of the Athienou Archaeological Project in Cyprus, located at Earth planetary coordinates 35.04 North Latitude 33.32 East Longitude, where Fleet Admiral Lyon's tenth Great Uncle Robert Lyon worked on his first archaeological dig as an excavator in 1995, and again in 2005 as a virtual reality computer consultant for the site.  Athienou is a quiet villiage located in the U.N. imposed Green Line in Cyprus, which seperated Turkish occupied territory from that of the Greek nationalists.  Though appearing calm and carefree on the surface, the citizens of Athienou often feared on a daily basis an invasion by the Turks.  By the twenty-fourth century, Athienou remained virtually unchanged, and peace existed on the island of Cyprus.  Twentieth century Athienou is the site of one of Fleet Admiral Lyon's favorite holodeck programs.
