The following mission briefing contains the short story "Arrival".  The story is available for download free-of-charge at the following link.  This is the first time that this story has ever been released.

 

STAR TREK: MAXIMILLIAN  ARRIVAL

 

It was originally written by Robert Lyon in 1997 and details the Sovereign Class Maximillian (NCC-74997)'s first mission to the Menkare Expanse.  This was the final story completed by Lyon, and was intended to lead into "Operation, Armaggedon!", which was never begun.  Arrival ends on a cliffhanger, and there are no notes to where Lyon intended the story to go next.

 

For now, the adventures in the Menkare Expanse are unfinished...
